Love Magnets
August 20th, 2007
Some time ago, a friend posted a link to a site that was essentially an online interactive magnet game. It was made with a Flash Communication Server.
Recently after reading up on Remoting gateways I decided to build one entirely with Amfphp. Depending on how many people are using it simultaneously, it can be quite fun.
UPDATE: 31/08/07
This is the last thing I will do with these magnets, I swear. I have re-coded it in AS3, and finally got around to building my first AIR app. You will need to Adobe Integrated Runtime for either Windows or Mac OS.
Why not play with Desktop Magnets here. or the online AS2 version here.

I love this idea. I would be very interested to meet the brains behind this.

Some PowerPC based Macs do not like this when viewed with Safari
Try this: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer9_update/
And then grab the latest update for PowerPC =)

I like the colors and different sizes.
Mind if I try something similar in Flash? I don’t know Communication Server or Amfphp or anything, but I want to see if I can do it.
I won’t use magnets though…
