Mydeco.com is a new beta by Brent Hoberman, co-founder of lastminute.com. At first glance it’s a shopping search engine for home furnishings, but the fun starts when you start to visualise your room in 2d or 3d using a Flash-based application. Designer furniture, wall colour, floor covering - you can design the whole lot and then view your creation from lots of different angles. For my first attempt, I tried to cram as much expensive designer furniture into a box room as possible. Next time I’ll include a door.
Smart site though.

Mydeco is agreat example of third phase of the web - a great way of finding homes and interiors goods which are difficult to find on the high street. Also have a look at http://www.fabricsandpapers.com which has some great designer fabrics and wallpapers.
