If you’re on twitter you may already be aware of fontsongs.
If, like us, you’re not on twitter you may not be aware of font songs.

It started about five days ago with Matt Irvine Brown and Ben Terrett.
As the name would suggest, it involves fonts and songs. And puns.
Some of my favourites are:
Lucida in the Sky with Diamonds
Highway to Helvetica
Oops I Didot Again
Some are poor, some are offensive, some are cringe-worthy, some are hide-behind-the-sofa scary, some are stop-or-my-mom-will-shoot, and some are pure genius. That’s the joy of puns. Add your own here.
Candle in the Wingdings
a thank you.
Wherever I lay matura that’s tahoma
( you make me feel ) might arial.
‘Islands In The Bitstream’
“The Times New Romans They Are A-Changing’
‘We Will Rockwell’
i never meta girl like you before
Franklin Mr. Shankly
Hurry up Harrington
The Kristen chandeliers
Of course we could always make it font films:
American Typewriter X?
Deep Impact?
Back to the Futura?
Lord of the Wingdings?
Erm…”There’s Something About Myriad”?
How about “The Tahoma-nator?”
I’ve got it: Ken Russell’s “(Franklin) Gothic (Medium)”!
Four webdings and and a futura?
It’s better with one ‘and’ though…
Jacko’s ‘Man in the Myriad’
Leo Sayer’s You Make Me Feel Like Din-sing’
If it’s films the SURELY we should have…
‘Gone with the Wingding’
Actually the image is by Tom Gabor via loiterink.com where you can purchase the tee. Thanks!
Sorry James – I lazily took someone else’s word for it. Is amended now.
I know its pretty late but…
Sign O’ The Times New Roman
Late Night, Early Times
Sunshine and Clouds (And Everything Roundabout)
Such Great Heights (Sympathique Remix)
