Our hearts are full of pride this week as we launch a new site for Girl Effect – a Nike Foundation charitable organisation that drives awareness and investment in the developing world. Girl Effect’s focus is driven by the fact that adolescent girls are much more likely to raise the standard of living in their family, community and beyond, but are often invisible to their societies and our media. The mission is to raise awareness and ensure any charitable activity that follows is channeled effectively.
The website was launched to coincide with the world premiere of the new Girl Effect video created by Wieden Kennedy, (introduced by Bill Clinton – about 23:45secs in). A powerful piece of illustration and animation, the video tells the emotional story of the Girl Effect cause, which the site supports with more information on the subject and some great tools and inspiration to donate, get involved and spread the word.
This works builds on earlier internal branding work we did for the Girl Hub
The Nike Foundation created the Girl Effect with critical financial and intellectual contributions by the NoVo Foundation and Nike Inc. and in collaboration with key partners such as the United Nations Foundation and the Coalition for Adolescent Girls.

Great work for a fantastic organisation. Well done chaps.
