Running is seen as a kind of uncool thing to do in China. It’s also way too hot to run outside during the summer months. Nike asked us to come up with an idea for a series of China-wide 5k night runs that’d change young people’s perceptions of running.
We took inspiration from Nike’s new LunarGlide+3 range and the moon – which symbolises togetherness in Chinese culture – to create Lunar Run, an event that brought young people together through running, music, and staying up way past your bedtime.
