JOBS: Mid-weight Packaging Designer

With the packaging department at LOVE flourishing after more global appointments and packaging award wins (think DBA and Pentawards), we need a skilful packaging designer to support the wider design team at a mid-senior level.

We’re after a world-class creative to support the agency’s packaging output, guiding the execution of simple, effective, surprising and empathetic work.

LOVE do a bit of everything: brand design, experiential and environmental design, packaging design, graphic design and advertising. We need an adaptable creative that will be excited about collaborating across all of our departments on multi-disciplinary projects.

Think, working on conceptual projects that require a big idea to stitch all consumer touch-points together.

A hands-on visionary packaging creative, looking for the next step in their career.

You’ll have experience in premium and luxury packaging accounts, with a portfolio that demonstrates work you’ve done for global brands, challenger brands and agile independents.

You’ll be passionate about packaging design across a range of different sectors (FMCG, spirits, beers, luxury consumer goods, and beauty).

You’ll be a key member of the agency, reporting to the Head of Packaging whilst helping oversee the work of junior-to-mid weight designers.


☻ The drive and ability to own and clearly communicate insight based ideas within internal studio catch-ups and presentations to clients

☻ The ability to think beyond packaging design - think activation, comms and elevating the shopper journey

☻ To visually translate conceptual or strategic thinking across global portfolios of products, aligning with or pushing brand vision where required.

☻ A broad frame of reference that shows diverse thinking

☻ A drive to innovate structure and materiality

☻ To support leading client workshops in packaging design, showing how innovations can transform brands of all sizes

☻ An eye for art-directing product and food photography as part of servicing existing clients or new brand creations

☻ To have charisma, confidence and bags of knowledge, minus the ego

☻ Minimum four years’ experience
