Welcome to your Friday dose of WEEK - a roundup of what's dropped in the last seven days, brought to you by the Culture & Strategy team at LOVE.
Viktor & Rolf's couture collection is the talk of Paris
Viktor & Rolf are the talk of the town, and social media, as they kicked-off fashion week with a truly unignorable collection.
The feminine princess dresses, contrasted with hard hitting millennial lingo, caught the attention of the fashion world - fully embracing hyper-modern (in contrast to other fashion houses who made a return to tradition).
And it’s worked brilliantly for them - you only have to look at the thousands of social media comments and reposts as proof.
HBO serving up CBD lattes
For the latest season of HBO’s cannabis-centric show, ‘High Maintenance’, lucky fans in Brooklyn, New York and Venice Beach, California were given 1000 free cannabis infused lattes.
Products that blur the line between food and beauty
Beauty and food, two categories you wouldn’t typically associate with each other, however there’s a host of new beauty and skincare products taking inspiration from food trends.
Lush have released an emoji inspired Aubergine bathbomb.
Skinny Dip have released a bath soak called ‘Just peachy’ that comes in a juice carton.
Bubble T cosmetics have a line of bath infusion tea bags inspired by the bubble tea trend.
And finally, our favourite, the Gregg’s ‘Baked Palette’.
Volcanic Kit Kat
Japan’s appetite for new forms and flavours means brands such as Kit Kat are always looking to stay one step ahead of the food and drink innovation game.
Last year they were the first major brand to jump on Ruby chocolate - the first chocolate discovery in over 80 years.
Now, in line with LOVE’s documented ‘hypernature' trend,Kit Kat have released a Sublime Volcanic range of chocolate, using a rare type of cacao, cultivated on volcanic islands.
